A friend spilled coffee (no sugar in it - so no conductivity) on his Vaio
PCG-XG29, and asked if I can do anything...
I looked into, the HDD was ok (no spills there and I might be able to
recover the data with an adaptor), but there are some coffee spots on the
motherboard that I was thinking of brushing them off with solvent and see if
it would work.
The problem is taking the top plastic cover off to be able to reach in those
spots. I took off all the screws but the cover still hasn't loosened in
certain parts (like the mouse pad area and the audio jacks area). I managed
to remove the keyboard, etc. But I was wondering if any of you knows of a
stepwise operation in order to do this...
Thanks a lot,
