site, my camera doesn't show up on the Computer area of vista and
camera apps don't see it also. I tried installing the 2 camera drivers
for vista, the one called filter driver gave me an error at the end
("Installation Failed") and the utility driver installed fine. I went
to the device manager and the device still was listed under Other
Devices with an exclamation mark. I reinstalled the drivers multiple
times and on safe mode too and still got the same result. I then
installed the Windows XP driver and it recognized the device and
listed it under Imaging Devices as Sony Visual Communication Camera
VGP-VCC2 but It doesn't show up on the computer area, I can't also see
it on the scanners and cameras control panel and programs can't see it
Re: VAIO AR150G CAMERA PROBLEM
If so, there is a readme on the disc that tells about this. It will not
be seen in the start menu. Mine works great with msn messenger.
Delete the drivers and get them off sony's website. You can not run the
xp drivers. And now that there Installed, you must go to the website and
get them, Uninstall the others and reinstall the vista ones.
