I have a ACER Laptop which I only use at home and it is connected by a
card via a wireless router. I am thinking about doing some travel in
England, Fance, Spain, Italy and Germany with the laptop this fall and
I need some advise. What do I need to purchase for the laptop so I can
use it while traveling.  Thanks

A stylish leather* carrying case large enough to hold everything you wish to
take perhaps?

Anything else would depend on what use you wish to make of it - details of
which are conspicuously absent.

*there are alternative materials.

If you are resident in North America, you will need a wireless card with
the Euro channel structure, a set of AC plug adapters, some decent
shoes, Imodium, and a roll of toilet paper.  Buy a GSM phone and sim
card in Europe or GB. Call you credit card company and alert them of
your travel plans so they don't assume your card is stolen and lock it
down when you need it most.  Find your passport. Brief yourself on
currency exchange rates and how your credit card company will screw you
to the wall playing the currency market with your credit.  Never use the
hotel phones or the minibar. Tip the cleaning staff.  Never speak
English to a French person; claim you are Canadian (if you are not).

Don't worry; be happy!
