Toshiba P35 Remove Keyboard - service disassemble

Do you have a question? Post it now! No Registration Necessary.  Now with pictures!

After almost destroying my Toshiba P35 notebook trying to get it
apart, I now know how.  After removing all the screws from the bottom,
the key is to remove the keyboard.  There is a narrow plastic strip
between the keyboard and the monitor that snaps off, then you can
remove the screws.  There is a plastic release for the strip, just
above the top right keyboard button (has menu on it).  If you insert a
small screwdriver under the plastic right above the menu icon and
press it in, you will release the catch.  This will save you from
almost breaking the strip like I did.

I've posted two photos with the strip removed at the links below, so
you can see what this looks like.  Good luck, and be careful you don't
break something else...I did :-(
