i am new to this site,
i bought this toshiba laptop from compusa in
dec.2004,worked well for
6 months,got my first problem- tft sreen blackened out.
got repaired as it was within warranty,
now 2nd problem -motherboard
defective,got it changed 3 times in two
weeks.now i am hearing something about
recall on this
i really don't know how to express my disgusted
feelings about this
laptop,i thought this is one of the best laptops,i was
can anybody help me suggesting what is needed,i don't know how to
proceed ,what do you mean by recall,what i am supposed to do,i am out
warranty now,is it a trash now.

had zero problems with it. Toshiba did have a recall on the memory about
a year ago. Toshiba sent me a new stick of memory and included a
postage paid envelop to return the old memory. Since then I have added
another stick of memory and changed out the Wireless card to an Intell
2200 B/G card.
