bought from pcworld - year past May, Laptop good, lots of what I need but
never had so much trouble with a lappy.
Power supply went down on motherboard - took two attempts for tosh to sort
Now that guarentee ran out when I switch on I get one long beep two short,
Toshiba, after getting me to use rescue cd and clear my HD now inform me
that my motherboard is the culprit and suggest a new motherboard fitting
will cost in the region of £400!!
I have now found american websites saying this model and the M35X are prone
to fragile motherboards with overheating problems.
I was wondering
1) anybody offer any advice or experiences
2) what laptops I should buy next (avoiding toshiba now)
