it down, it seems to shut down everything and the screen goes black but the
power button remains on. Whereas before it would shutdown everything. Does
anyone know of a fix for this problem? I talked to microsoft support and
they said I need to rename invalid digital signatures in it. Most of the
invalid signatures linked back to microsoft though. Strange

I have the original M6805, and it was incompatible with SP2. I first
tried flashing it with a BIOS from an M6811, but that made my battery
power meter not work at all. I then downloaded an M6809 BIOS, and not
only did it make my machine compatible with SP2, it fixed a little
problem with going to sleep when closing the lid. Nice!
To find out ALL about this issue, check this thread at the Anandtech
Or if that link doesn't work, go to http://forums.anandtech.com and look
in the "SFF, NOtebooks, Pre-Built/Barebones" forum, look for the
