hard drive but the Sony website says HD upgrades are not supported. It
originally has a 4.3GB. Any idea what the max capacity HD is that will
be recognized by the BIOS?
I'd also like to put in a DVD-ROM or combo drive and upgrade the
processor if possible. I believe any DVD-ROM drive will work but the
processor might be a problem. The only one I'm fairly sure will work is
the PII 366 from the same series laptop. I'd like to hear from anyone
who has done any upgrades to a PCG-F150/160/180/190 laptop.

for fun. I know I can get all the parts mentioned for under $100. It's
just a matter of what will work. I put the real money into my desktop,
which does digital video, etc. I just need to get internet and email
through dialup one or two nights a week when I'm on the road.
