I am trying to reinstall a Sony vaio laptop, and have managed to
complete o/s install and the application install (all after much
swearing and cursing of Sony)  however, I ow need to install the
drivers (Video, network and audio etc)  yet I cannot find them on the

When I put the model into the sony website it is not found.  Does
anybody know where I can download the correct drivers.
The model is:  PCG-6C1M

Any help you can suggest would be gratefully received.

Go here, insert the PCG thing and your serial number to get drivers.

PCG-6C1M  must be the model number on the bottom of the unit.
That is not the number to put into their web page.
The number they want is the model number on the front of the computer,
either above the keyboard or on the screen bezel.
Try that number and it should take you to the drivers.
