Upon start up I get 4 bleeps with a blank screen. I was advised to purchase
some replacement memory and as I've done this before on another laptop, I
thought this would be just as simple!
I found one of the two memory slots on the base of the laptop as I thought
and was also told about the memory under the keyboard. For the record, the
memory bank at the base of the machine was empty.
This is where my problem gets worse - the memory isn't located under the
keyboard! I've stripped the laptop down to the motherboard and still I can't
see the second memory bank.
As I haven't got a service manual and the company where I plan to get the
memory from can't help me, I thought someone on here could enlighten
me......or does anyone know where I can obtain a service manual? I've been
on the Sharp website, to no avail....
Thanks in advance
