I attached a normal VGA CRT to my A21, and it works. Well, it showes exactly
what's on my LCD-screen.
Turning on and off with Fn-F7 works, but i can't get it to work like an
extended screen, as to make a wider desktop.
Do i want something that is not possible or what should i do?
(working with Win XP home)
Re: second screen on IBM A21m
Check Display properties (right click on Desktop, select properties, then
settings). On my toshibas and HP's there are pictures of two monitors. If
I click on the second monitor, a check box is highlighted that allows
extending your windows desktop to the external monitor. That has to be
enabled before you can use it with the fn-f7 key (f4 on my hp). If you
don't have that option, your PC might not support the feature. As others
have said, it might just be a matter of installing or updating the
correct drivers to enable the feature.
