with a fuel cell capable of powering a laptop for a month. The dock
uses a Direct Methanol Fuel Cell with a maximum output of 20 watts.
Direct Methanol Fuel Cells(DMFCs) are best suited to producing small
amounts of power over a long periods at low temperatures, making them
well suited to mobile devices.

Re: Samsung's new fuel cell capable of powering a laptop for a month
My Acer Travelmate 800 from 2003 used around 20 Watt
waiting for the user.
What an unluck, that most newer notebooks are using just to
wait for the user typicall more than 25 Watt.
So this notebooks can not work with the fuel cell alone.
they need a battery to assist the fuel cell, special at peak power
No, thats not worth reading, because there are no real information.
How big is the fuel cell
How big is the Methanol tank
How much Methanol is used per produced kWh
Compare this "I hide every real information" with a report
over photovoltaik to power a notebook
