Hello All,

I have a Toshiba Satellite M115-S3094.  I updated my BIOS and now there
problems, such as the CPU runs high and the system overheats.  I
want to reset
my BIOS to a previous version, before this issue.  How can
I achieve this?

Thank you for any and all assistance.

Do you have a copy of the BIOS that was in it before? If not, you are
going to have to find a copy.

And that is only half of the battle. As most BIOS software will not
allow going back to an earlier version than what is already installed.
Although most really old BIOS software will (which usually runs under
DOS only - the real DOS and not the Windows DOS). That is another hurtle
to overcome.

This link below (besides the part about reprogramming a wiped out BIOS
part), should provide useful information how to do all of this. Any
questions, just ask.

Re: Reset BIOS

If you can open its case to access mobo there is a way to do it.
