Anyone know how to remove a password on a laptop harddrive ?
I plugged it into an Ibm 600X and a password box comes up and
the machine won't do anything.

Re: Removing Password on a laptop harddrive ??
Hard drive passwords are EXTREMELY secure. The intent is to insure that
the data never falls into the "wrong hands" by making the entire drive
useless. This is implemented directly in the drive itself, and there is
no easy way around it.
