I bought a new ASUS M6Ne a few months a go, with it I got a
12volt 40watt power supply witch I bean using without any
problems, now I learnt that it is the wrong supply it
should have bean a 19volt 60watt.

Now my question, would it cussed any harm to my laptop?

Response greatly a received, Christer

Higher voltage than rated will probably kill a laptop. Using a lower voltage
as you have been doing will probably just mean it doesn't charge as well as
it should (if at all).

If you bought it new, how come you got the wrong p/s? Are ABSOLUTELY sure ?
