wireless network card. I have the latest driver from Sony website, however,
Device Manager reports that it cannot find free resources for this device
and a red X beside it is displayed. It's also intermittent, sometimes it
works, then all of a sudden I get disconnected from my wireless network and
the red X appears in device manager stating cannot find free resources for
this device. Right now, I am using a wireless PCMCIA card with no problems.
The internal wireless card has a on/off switch and I have turned it off
because it's not enabled for the reason stated above. The only upgrade I
have done to this laptop is increase the RAM to 1GB (2x512MB). Any help is

driver for it and it worked great.....for a couple of minutes..then all of a
sudden, no connection, red X in Device Manager. I opened the laptop case to
expose the whole motherboard, blew dust out, just in case dust was keeping
air circulation at a minimum and generating a lot of heat inside that may be
causing the problem but still to no go. It is accessible and I did take the
card out and re-seated it, blew dust off the pins, no luck. Thanks for the
