I have a HP Pavilion zx5000 laptop.
For the last couple of weeks I have been facing a problem. The problem
is, when I am running my laptop on Power mode, it gets shifted to
Battery Mode automatically.
Everytime I see this, I unplug and plugin the power connection thus
fooling my system. This has been happening quite often...
FYI, The only change in settings that i did was to shift from
"Max Battery" to "Portable/Laptop" mode.
Can some help me understand, why this happens. what's the way to
handle or rather prevent it from slipping into Battery Mode.
Thanks a lot!!!!

Re: Problem while on POWER MODE
Are you certain that you are slipping into battery mode? Is this because
the icon in the system tray changes from a little plug to a little battery?
I have found that remakably unreliable. Mine often shows the wrong icon
(and Windows often spontaneously removes the icon altogether). Anecdotal
evidence suggests that unless you are charging the battery, it is best to
romove it when running on AC power.
