Question: Do these sales provided battery life times seem reasonable?
6-cell   3 - 3.5 hours
8-cell   4 - 4.5 hours
12-cell  5+ hours

Gateway must have disclaimers that these times are for a new battery
with the computer used within definite parameters.  How can any of us
know what is in the mind of Gateway?  We cannot know unless we do the
in-depth research that you need to do.  There are no guarantees of
performance in any notebook specs I've ever read thoroughly.
