Surprised how easy it was to open up (no manual, never touched one
before). I suspected a dead hard drive, but the Aspire One splash screen
was throwing me.
Well in fact the HD is currently not working, so I tossed in one I just
pulled from my Dell D620 with the Windows & beta on it.
I just powered it up and voila, not only did Windows 7 boot, but it
found ALL the drivers except the 945 video chipset (including Atheros
wireless). It is up and runnin'... Woohoo...
Now i'm gonna try to dual boot with XP pro (need it for our work
applications). Maybe whip some linux on it later...
Ok NIC drivers are goofy, but still gonna load XP and make it work W7
