Alright so here goes,
I was fiddling around with my Acer Aspire 3641WXMi, and I found it very
thus I decided to reformat the whole machine.
However, I used the wrong recovery disk ( the one for Acer TravelMate
), and now
my laptop's going all crazy on me. After the boot screen,
just after the windows
xp logo loading screen comes up, I am shown the
screen which I am able to choose
boot in safe mode, normal, last known
config, etc. After I select run normally,
it flashes a blue screen and
just restarts itself, going back to the boot
screen. I am unable to read
what's on the blue screen as it only flashes for a
fraction of a second.
I have also tried booting up the system in safe mode, but to no avail.
process just repeats itself every time I try to get past that
Furthermore, I cannot find the correct recovery disk for that
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Re: Need some help over here
No! Since the chipsets are different, Windows has all of the wrong
drivers installed. So you have two choices, find the correct recovery
disc. Or go out and get a generic version of Windows.
