This is a slim design that only uses external drives (CD FLOPPY or DVD)
The latitude CS requires a "media cable" to boot from external CD
which I am missing
I am using a C/DOCK with a CD-ROM drive in the media bay. As far
as I know, there is no way to boot from that CD-ROM drive when in
the media bay.
In win2k pro....the CD-ROM in the dock works fine.....
QUESTION: Is there a way to either boot the CD-ROM drive when
docked...or atleast make a boot floppy with drivers to recognize the
CD-ROM drive ? Will a standard windows boot floppy w/ cd drivers
I have a bootable external floppy drive with the right floppy
I have tried Smart Boot Manager and a similar boot manager with
editing the I/O but it will not recognize the CD.
