I upgraded the oryginal 6.4 GB HD to a newer 30 GB Hitachi travelstar. All
works fine, but after some minutes the lcd starts "striping" and finally
blinking. Thinking it is a disk problem (power consumption is 0.5A higher) I

horizontal strips appear and finally whole screen is blinking.
CPU (C600) is around 50 degC, fan is not runing. I checked with a MB
monitor - fan works when started manually, but even the top rpm do NOT
change anything.
VGA failure? What should I check?
