About a week ago, whenever i hit the left click button below my
touchpad it doesnt work, so what i did i looked at my touchpad
settings. It had left button assinged as Click right button assinged
as Shortcut menu and both bottons assinged as shortcut menu, with the
settings like that no matter what butotn i push i get the "Right click"
shortcut menu. if i change the both buttons option to "click" no matter
what button i push i get the left click function. If i change the both
buttons option to "None" and just leave left button as "Click" and
right button as "Shortcut menu" neither button works. So whatever i
have set as both buttons is the only fuction i can use. The Tocuhpad
tapping function works fine. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea
what the problem was, the buttons are not stuck in the down position,
because i tried mulitle changing of those above options and no matter
how i set it whatever "both bottons" function is set at, is the only
function i can use, and if i have it at "none" i cant use anytning.
i even hooked up a USB mouse..... I have the SAME problem.
I have a Sony Vaio FS980 1.73GHZ, 1GB RAM Windows XP, the last update
i downloaded was late week for windows XP, i think this maybe when this
started but i cant be sure.
Any one have ideas? If you need more info let me know
