I recently ordered from IBM a refurbished T20 Thinkpad which will come
with 128 meg of RAM.
On a lark, I went to Crucial's site to research getting another 128
meg for the Thinkpad.
It "looks" like the Inspiron and Thinkpad use the same type of RAM
(SDRAM, PC100 CL=2 Non-parity 100MHz 3.3V 16Meg x 64 144-pin
But the RAM for the IBM and the Dell come up with different part
numbers and slightly different prices ($2 difference).
Will I be able to use the RAM from my Dell in my new Thinkpad, or is
there some other spec difference that's not included in the "SDRAM,
PC100 CL=2 Non-parity 100MHz 3.3V 16Meg x 64 144-pin SODIMM"
