Hi All!

My friend has 2 laptops with Win98. Screen of one the machines doesn't
work. (everything else works)

What would be the easiest way to access files on one PC from another.
He probably could get hold of  the monitor, but only for a very short
time (i.e. to install some drivers, ets. He is travelling abroad at the
moment)) Everything else whould need to be done  with second PC's blank

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

PS. There are no users (i.e. passwords) on both PC's.

Re: Laptop access

PC Anywhere can be installed on the broken screen machine.  Set it to run on
boot.  (He would need to do this when he has access to an external screen.)
Once that is done, and networking is installed, he can install PC Anywhere
on the second working laptop.  Connect to the network, and connect to the
other laptop.  The screen will be displayed on the working laptop.  Either
you can control the laptop from the remote machine.

Re: Laptop access

Take the drive out of the laptop and put it into a USB enclosure
connected to another machine.
