Basically, any PC with about an 800MHz to 1GHz CPU and 512MB of system
memory can run Vista (note that in systems with chipset shared memory
video, system memory = total memory - video memory). The question that
this leaves unanswered is will it run Vista's "Aero" interface, and the
likely answer is "no" (Aero requires a fairly advanced video system, at
least 128MB of video memory and support for "pixel shader 2"). However,
Vista will simply run without Aero if the PC meets the minumum specs but
the video card does not.
