my unit. However, what is involved in setting up WPA2 (and is AES
I really dont want to use that IBM Access connections utility, but it
seems I might have to?
Does anyone have a T60 setup with WPA2 that could share some insight?

WPA vs WEP depends on the router or access point capabilities. Both WPA
and WEP are supported via Wireless Zero Configuration in XP SP2 (you
don't need any other utility). AES, as I understand, depends on your
having an authentication server with AES authentication, and since you
asked the question, you don't have an AES server.
