I found another notebook.
I have money just to buy this.
The HP Compaq 2230s Notebook PC features a 12.1-inch diagonal display, the
IntelCoreT2 Duo, 2 Gb ram, 160 gb disc, Intel GMA 4500.

I need for student purposes.
Is it good notebook ?
Will it last for 5 to 6 years ?

Although I don't like HP computer products, this does look like a
pretty good computer. Here's a review I found:

in Summary...

The HP Compaq 2230s is a conservative-looking notebook with some
features targeted towards small business users. Unlike most business
or small business notebooks, this notebook doesn’t offer the rugged
feel, only a rugged look. The plastic used throughout the design is
weak even when compared to the HP Pavilion lineup. While the keyboard
is impressive, it doesn’t outweigh the lackluster build quality. For
small businesses my best recommendation would be to look at notebooks
such as the HP Pavilion tx2500z or stepping up to the HP EliteBook

    * Solid keyboard
    * Nice touchpad and soft touch buttons
    * VGA and HDMI output with Intel 4500MHD integrated graphics
    * Excellent cooling system
    * Availabile with Windows XP for customers who still want it

    * Flexible chassis
    * High price considering configuration and durability
    * 4-cell battery option only

They show it's price as $949.99, so I'd say if you can get it for
around the price of a netbook, it might be a good deal. As to how long
it will last, I'd doubt you'd get 5 years unless you left it sitting
on a desk the whole time. I have always purchased Thinkpads, and I've
never had one last 5 years, and I'm a "light" user on a notebook. ( My
current Thinkpad, T41, is over 5 years old but the Battery charging
circuit has failed and the optical drive no longer works.)

Well let see... I have owned seven laptops since 1984.

1) Epson Geneva PX-8, CP/M 2.2 ROM based ('84)
2) Sharp PC-4501, V20, 640KB ('89)
3) Toshiba T1950CS, 486 20 MHz, 20MB ('94)
4) Toshiba 2595XDVD, Celeron 400MHz, 192MB ('99)
5) Toshiba 2595XDVD, Celeron 400MHz, 192MB ('99)
6) Gateway MX6124, Celeron 1.5GHz, 2GB ('06)
7) Gateway MX6124, Celeron 1.5GHz, 2GB ('06)

All but #3 is still running and #3 lasted 5 years before it cooked
itself to death. It sported no fan and it was a real toaster. So I am
getting 5 years to 25 years plus out of mine. I guess I should update
this list and add my many netbooks to it.

Gateway MX6124 ('06 era) - Windows XP SP2
