A few hours ago i bought this laptop: Toshiba Satellite M40X-231

When i point my mouse on the batteryindicator, i only see percents.
Is it possible to see the battery lifetime in hours and minutes?

I hope to hear from you soon

Thanks in advance,

Even if it did display the hours and minutes, it would be a SWAG (scientific
wild ass guess) at best.  There is no way to know how you will utilizing the
laptop in the remaining time you have left on the battery.  Someone playing
solitaire with the brightness turned down on the lcd, not using a nic,
wireless card or modem will get to play a lot longer than one that has the
brightness set at max, is dialed up or using a network card and is doing
both processor and disk intensive applications.

nb is right, but if you still want to see the hours, just right click
on the battery meter, go to adjust power properties, power meter tab,
and it shows you there.....WinXP should already show you time and %
