I brought Laptop in January, now, I have problem with the HDD in my
laptop that it doesn't boot the windows and blue screen of windows
error comes on the screen and restarted.
What should i have to do for the retrive the few MB of data which is
less than 400MB?
The laptop is still in the warranty period so can i remove hdd and
attached that on other computer via usb harddisk?
Or can u suggest other good idea to solve these.
Thanking you for devoting your work in this manner (to guide others).
Re: How to Backup HDD
First: have you tried a System Restore to an earlier configuration (from the
help menu)? This fixes 99% of problems.
You can connect the disk to desktop via a USB to ATA adaptor (a 2.5 to 3.5
inch adapter will also be required).
A better way would be to get hold of a copy of Trueimage and from the
bootable CD, make an image of the disk. You can then recover those bits
that need once you have a working operating system.
