I am new to your site and have a question, one of the hard drives in my
VGNAR290G has failed, I am running in RAID 0, can I upgrade to 7200
rpm drives
to replace the 5400 rpm drives?

Below is the info on my laptop.

Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt about that you can just replace the  5400 by 7200 rpm easily
in portable pcs, an acquiantance of mine just made his laptop useless
due to that upgrade...It destroyed its motherboard...

and much more VAIO HDD location are just difficult to dig up and not
as easy as other laptop brands.
I had experienced that with  my 17inch VAIO and all of the
preiinstalled vaio tools stop working after the change of hard I want bigger capacity HDDS

I don'tknow how it willwork with multiple drives if the problems I
encountered would apply....
