I have just installed gNewSence, which is a GNU/Linux distro, on my
Dell Latitude D600 laptop and I can not get either the wireless or the
LAN card recognized.  I am wondering if anyone can anyone point me in
the direction of a place to download the drivers?

gNewSense is probably the wrong distribution for you if you want to use
your Dell's network cards. Those are typically using broadcom chips for
which there are no fully free drivers and "gNewSense is a GNU/Linux
project that aims to remove all the non-free software from Ubuntu and
Debian to make a 100% Free Software distribution."[1]

Thus you better get Ubuntu[2] or Debian[3] which still has support for
your hardware.
