open up the ghost image files with a real version of Ghost and pull
individual files out, but you can't put it back together once you've
Well, I guess you could restore the image to a drive, make the changes
you want, and image the drive again...
It sounds like what you have are the restore disc set to put the machine
back in the state it was when you first got it. That would wipe out
everything that you currently have on the computer and there is no way to go
into the image and pick and choose what you want or don't want. I use ghost
to image my hard drive and while ghost has a utility (it runs under windows)
to extract individual files there is no way to just extract XP out of the
