I have a Presario 2100US, I got a Compaq/HP mini PCI wireless card (Broadcom)
to put into my laptop.  However, I do not see the antenna wires.  Are they
tucked away in my case or do I need to buy them too?

They probably are not present, and you need more than the wires, you
need the antenna(s).  Often, if the laptop doesn't have the card from
the factory, none of this is installed (there may also be an on-off
switch that wasn't installed).

Doing this after the fact is sometimes extremely difficult, as these
wires run through both the base and the lid; total disassembly of the
laptop may be required.  It's because of this that installation of an
internal Wi-Fi card is usually not feasible unless the card was "Wi-Fi
Ready" from the factory (that is, all of the wiring and accessories were
present, even though the wifi card itself was not).

Tim.. They generally dont come stock with these. They can also be a
pain to install. requires board removal to do it right.
