About the same price. And in some cases the Pentium M is a bit less with
roughly the same hardware. Will be using it for CAD applications and some
gaming and photo editing. I'm looking at the Acer Aspire 5672WLMi (1.66GHz
Duo) or the Acer Travelmate 8104 (Pentium M 2GHz.) Of course the Duo has the
faster FSB. Also maybe the Asus Z70V (Pentium M 2GHz). All three have the
ATI PCI Express GPU with 128 meg of ram (the duo has the X1400 and the
Pentium M has the X700). I'm also kind of concerned about the Duo Core since
Microsoft has a bug in their USB driver that drains the power once you plug
a USB device in. Also the resolution on the Core Duo system is 1280x800 as
compared to the others which are 1680x1050.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a comparison chard from Intel  but I don't see much advantage
with the Duo core system aside from the FSB
You can do your own comparson
Say between the 2 ghz T2500 vs the pentium M 760.

See if you can find any difference.
What ever the so called advantage of duo core as claimed by the
manufacturers that remains to be seen..
