I recently had a Broadcom wireless card die on my Compaq V5000. I
believe the card is still my be causing some hardware issues. I tried
physically removing the wireless card, but I get a memory RAM error
when I boot up. So how do I get around this...?
Re: Disabling and removing broadcom wireless card.
You may have other problems, but go into the bios, save the changes
(even if you didn't make any changes) and exit. Restart. See if that
fixes it. I'd run a memory test (Memtest86 or Memtest+), by the way.
