I just bought a Dell Inspiron 1200 and I was told the ram was not
upgradable. It has one slot taken with a 256 meg stick. There is another
slot free. I'd like to add some ram but am not sure if it will cause any
problems if the ram limitation is true. On the existing stick there is a
sticker saying ' DDR 1 ONLY '. Does this mean I can only have one stick (and
that Dell did some modification to limit the amount of ram) or does it mean
that there is one slot taken?
