You can probably safely replace the CPU with one of the factory
options, but in general cranking up the CPU speed will dissipate more
heat, which the cooling system may not be sized for. What CPU speeds
did that laptop come with originally?
Also, laptop CPU replacement isn't as easy as desktop CPU replacement,
check the service manual for details...
