After some Google searching I discovered that if I unplug the power and
battery, and hold the power button down for a minute, it will "restart" the
system. And after plugging in the a/c cord, it powers on and boots up just
fine (this doesn't work with just the battery). However, after shutting
down and unplugging the a/c power, I have to do this all over again.
Doing this reset the clock, so I thought it was the CMOS battery that needed
replacing. I replaced it but it still does the same thing.
The battery pack is at 100% and it will power the laptop when it's already
Any ideas on what I can do?
