I have a c300 that was working fine, turned it on and lost CMOS
settings, I
re-set them and worked fine for a couple hours, shut it
down, when i turned it
on it comes on for about 10 seconds, comes up to
Vista loading window, screen
goes blank and the power light in the
front(the lightning symbol) flashes real
fast, when I hit the power
button that also flashes real fast for a few seconds
then goes off but
the lightning symbol keeps on flashing. I pulled out battery
and tried
starting it but nothing, lightning symbol keeps flashing, if I shut it
down for a little while and put battery back on the same thing happens
again to
where it boots up to where Vista starts loading and then screen
goes blank.
Sorry for the long post but I'm trying to give you as much
info. as possible. Is
it a bad battery? Thanks in advance for the help.

Try removing the AC power and the battery and then press and hold the
power button down for 30 seconds or more. Plug the AC back in and now

Some laptops/netbooks has a tiny hole that you can insert a bent
paperclip. If yours has one (careful to make sure it isn't a built in
mic hole), do the same as the above. But also press and hold the reset
while holding down the power button.

If you think it is a bad battery, you can run it without a battery on AC
only. So try that. Well 99.99% of laptops/netbooks can run without the
battery anyway.
