i use a company laptop at home occassionally and sometimes access my
hotmail account for personal correcpondence. if i send files from
this hotmail account, is there a way for my company to view the files
once the laptop is turned back into the company?
if there is a better group in which to post this question, please let

If your company installed a keylogger on their laptop: yes.
But I doubt if they did that.
And, depending on the location you are in, they are probably
obliged to inform you if they use a keylogger. (But then, they
would probably forbid you to take their laptop home :-)
