setup a fingerprint login every time the machine is turned on. Start
-> Programs -> Thinkvantage - > Thinkvantage Fingerprint Software ->
Control Center [run as Administrator].
There are three options: Fingerprints (enroll), Settings (configure
software) and Tutorial. The Fingerprints and Tutorial options work,
but when I click on the Settings option, the option 'expands', but
nothing is shown. Checking the Help document shows a large list of
options that's 'supposed' to come up. Has anyone else had this
problem/found a workaround. I'd rather 'turn it off' properly, rather
than totally uninstalling the software.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Re: Can't access fingerprint reader settings on my Thinkpad Z61m
This may or may not help you out, but in Vista under Control Panel /
Administrative Tools / Task Scheduler you can r-click to disable
programs that autorun. Hope that helps.
