Re: Can anyone recommend me a software recalibrate my battery.
Battery recalibration has nothing to do with increasing or restoring
your battery's performance. All the recalibration does is reset the
base voltage ("zero", usually 3.6 volts) and max capacity at whatever
voltage the calibration finds is maximum. Maximum voltage decreases as
the battery ages until there is no capacity left, i.e., max voltage
equals min voltage or 3.6 volts. The problem is that max is defined as
100% during recalibration, even if there is say only 20% of the as-new
capacity left. So if your battery prior to calibration was listed as 20%
capacity, after calibration it would list the 20% as the maximum or 100%
but it remains only 20% of as new capacity.
You might feel better seeing 100% after charging, but there is no more
capacity available than there was before calibration.
