I am having problems with three rugged Panasonic CF-52 laptops. Just
sitting on the bench, these three laptops will just blue screen. Typically
it happens after 24-48 hours.

I have had them back to Panasonic twice and they told me the last time they
replaced the memory, hard drive, motherboard, etc. Again, sitting on the
bench, 2 of the 3 blue screened within 24 hours. I did not even try the

Right now, all three are still at Panasonic and I am afraid they are going
to say hardware is not the problem and that it is a software problem. The
blue screens occur even with the base image Microsoft Windows XP image
supplied by Panasonic.

I have tried new images, different AC power adapters, with and without the
docking stations, new Cat 5 cables, etc.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Reading the Windows log files would be a smart starting point.
Quite often Windows is just telling you why it is about to crash

Next question would be: 'just sitting on the bench'?
What happens if you assign them a task ?
E.g. getting new usenet messages, say every 20 minutes :-)
