Here is my short story with these crooks.
I bought a USB video capture from an even worse crooks called (Factory
ON the product box it is written Adaptec AVC-1200 USB video capture .
Then inside the packing you find a lousy plastic box written on it
AVC-1100 , the CD comes with it named OH-Video ( the OH is real bcoz
alot of pain is coming). And Drivers on that CD are for AVC1100 not
AVC1200 USB video capture
I Tried in every way to have it installed to work on many good, higly
specified computers, it just did not work. I changed it with a new one
from (Factory Direct crooks) but same result.
I downloaded drivers for both 1100 and 1200 and non worked.
I tried to email them through their UGLY website, but all it does is
make you register to collect your private info...Then will keep you
clicking in circles, and THERE IS ACTUALLY NO ONLINE FORM OR EMAIL to
take your complaint.
THIER CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS A SCAM.....
BUYERS, be warned., If Ended up wasting my money, that would be
good....But So mad that their website is a Sham....
Re: Beware of Adaptec Products
by XP. Of course, it did not come with the necessary drivers.
However, there was a 3rd party driver which I found by Googling the
part number and "driver." Give it a shot.
