I think this chip has 64 mb and a shared availability of additional 64 mb.
How do you enable/disable ths feature?

Right click on the desktop, select Properties, then on Settings, then
Advanced.  Provided you have the correct notebook manufacturer's drivers,
you can change it in these pages.Just remember you will lose another 64mb
from your System RAM in doing so.

If it were only as as simple as a setting in display properties.  Currently
the ati  control panel doesn't load because I had to disable all
acceleration (under troubleshooting).  Perhpas it was in the ATI tabs but,
but I dont think so.  The bios doesn't offer any settingd...any other ideas?

Some implementations of ATI shared video memory are on demand of the GPU
itself and have no user interface.  If Hypermemory is involved, there is
no user management.  You might check in BIOS setup on the chance that
there is a setting available there.
