I have a problem where the video on the Acer is "strange". When I
replay dvd's there is a strange hue - pink like. I also see a pink hue
when I have a white screen. I don't know how else to describe it -
apart from it's not "right".
I also have a problem whereby when I play music I can still hear it
despite having my headphones plugged in.
Re: Acer TM 803 travelmate problems and speaker/headphone
settings (from control panel or right click an empty place on your desktop).
Click the "settings" tab at the top, then the "advanced" button. Depending
on your graphics chip, there is a "color" tab or some other tab for
adjusting color. There is usually a "defaults" button on that page of the
settings, which should adjust whiteness level. If not you can compensate
for whatever is going on by making adjustments.
