previously valid Ghost image AND also after use of recovery disks originally
supplied by Acer:
At welcome screen and thereafter, keystrokes processed very slowly (<1 per
second) only if staying on key until recognition (leaning on key does not
eventually produce multis), touchpad motion is reflected well behind actual
motion, BUT USB mouse behaves just fine, including clicks.
All of the above does NOT occur in safe mode.
Any suggestions or solutions or additional information needed?
Re: Acer Aspire 3000 keyboard and touchpad problems in Windows XP
It actually makes sense to me. As when the battery starts losing the ability
to store a charge (or a cell fails), the laptop tries to put more and more
into it. Which only acheves to produce extra heat. Which may damage or cause
intermittent problems. Also the power regulators are maxed out and the
voltages could drop as well. Also causing behavioral problems.
