screen. I am zeroing in on a Dell Latitude D810
I will use it mainly for web browsing, word processing and spredsheets.
Concerning the LCD screen, will I be able to read text comfortably with
a 15.4 WSXGA+ (1680x1050) LCD Screen? or should I go for 15.4 WXGA
(1280x800 )LCD Screen?
Re: 15.4 WSXGA+ (1680x1050) LCD Screen for Reading
The new crop of high contrast ratio LCDs are very easy to read at the
higher resolutions, but for my use, the larger XGA text is more
comfortable for long sessions. Like keyboards, it all boils down to
personal preference. You can get some idea of what WSXGA screen will
look like by finding one of the T series Sony laptops with the small (11
inch?) WXGA screens. The test size will be directionally the same as
the Dell screen.
