Hi pals,
my friend got a problem with a DELL laptop C610 / P3-1GHZ

1 -The touch pad is verrry sensitive, as he moves the cursor, it clicks
by itsef on any radio link on its was....is there a software way to set
the touch pad click off ?
2- Another prblem, during typing, the cursor jumps to somehwere else
on the screen, so if u are not looking while typing, you find urself
typing a mess...

Plz advise....we tried 2 contact DELL,,,,thier customer service are so
stupid, and 5 emails back and forth, and still they did not even
understand what we are talking about.....Buying DELL is just a waste of
money...plz help

Your friend needs to poke around in his computer to learn where all the
controls are.
I think you have to crash your computer a couple of times in order to
familiarize yourself, and besides it's fun!
Don't be afraid , recovery is easy nowadays.

I don't own a Dell but computers are pretty much the same with XP.
Go into control panel and if you are in catagory view, click >printers and
other hardware< now click >mouse< and you should find adjustments to turn
off radio buttons and arrow acceleration and mouse click speed and probably
turn the mouse off somewhere if you want.

If you are in classic view, click >mouse< .
